The Civilian Resporator - How to remove it.

The picture shows the RIGHT way to take off a civilian respirator. This should be done by slipping the head harness forward from the back of the head.
No one’s fated or doomed to love anyone.

they happen in our lives like car crashes,

we move into and come to love.

Tristan und Isolde is scarcely the story,

women at least should know the difference

between love and death. No poison cup,

no penance. Merely a notion that the tape-recorder

should have caught some ghost of us: that tape-recorder

not merely played but should have listened to us,

and could instruct those after us:

this we were, this is how we tried to love,

and these are the forces we had ranged within us

within us and against us, against us and within us.

This is along the Tissington Trail in the Derbyshire Peak District, a cycling trail following the former railway line between Buxton and Ashbourne. I have it on good authority that the trail makes for a very pleasant day out (unless it is raining and you forget your lunch and lose your mobile and fall off your bicycle and get into a huge row with your cycling partner) AND it not too strenuous, not strenuous at all!! It has very gentle gradients, so you can pedal madly along.

Fortunately, I had my camera with me today as I sat down to read in the grass by this little patch of woods.

I love monarch butterflies because they arrive in such colorfully abundant numbers, they’re one of the first signs of the oncoming fall, and because of their incredible migration pattern.

I managed to photograph this one sipping away at this flower (some type of purple aster?) before it fluttered away.

My vote: I really did/do not enjoy Death of a Salesman. At all.

I hate Catcher in the Rye. Hate it. But I’m not shy about it. I absolutely want to punch Holden in the face. It probably makes me a bad English teacher…

“Moby Dick” and “The Tale of Two Cities”.
